The Seer [Chapter 2 of "Search"]

The whiteness in a vagabond disposition looks so different. She thought as if she is in her vague dreams again. In the past her dreams sketched so many lines but the face was never been so prominent as it was today but then she looked more into it and found there is no face either but a deep voice with an unrecognized figure.

The Voice: So you had a past. Was that difficult one?

She: Yes.

The Voice: Was it fortunate or unfortunate?

She: It is unfortunate.

The Voice: Surely it must be.
After such a long journey if your vision told you the differences, then it certainly becomes unfortunate.

She: What was it you thought should have been my reply?

The Voice: (laughs) Am I supposed to answer that. I thought that your life should have answered you by now.

She: No. No. No. So you want to say that my journey is still incomplete. Don’t want to believe that. But I don’t want to bear more. It hurts, it sinks…it it….

The Voice: What? We have not given you the hurdles to guarantee that your life ahead will be full of blossoms; you only thought that everything should end somewhere but you never thought there is no end.

She: Leave me. I can’t listen more, no not like that.

The Voice: You don’t want to hear us or you don’t want to hear the truth? But we will be always there to bear your burdens unlike you. (Smiles)

She: Who are you?

The Voice: This time a painted dream, who will be with you always when you require.

She: (Almost in tears) nobody can rectify that broken past. Nobody can…nobody can, not even you.

The Voice: Yes, nobody can but you.

(Clairvoyance ends for a while)

She woke up in haste and saw those tears over her face. She couldn’t believe that this time she was walking with a dream. The haste may have been the culprit. She could have known more, she could have talked to that voice in a big way. This time the voice has got a face and may be next time she can see that face. She wants to get back to sleep again but this time she decided differently. She was all awake that night to understand that Seer.

(Waiting for “The Seer” to get a face)

Note: Next in line "Solitude" and yes disclaimer for its being a fiction do apply.

Seems weird that a voice smiles..(though it has no face)

hmm, this kind of question arises when we apply lots of logic and no feel. Start feeling with great intensity....and emotions flow. For that, face is not needed. Well this story is going to unfold in itself (smiles) :))
