Childhood Pains !!

Before anybody read this post, want to say-this was going to be the part of my travelogue that I was supposed to write after one of my recent travel but the issue is already raised so dropped the idea. :D

The link above is an article written by Vaibhav for Reader's Quotient telling what actually 'a child labour' is all about in India.

During one of my conversations with a close friend I lazily discussed my childhood days and basked myself in 'those days were days' glory but she pointed out that during those days we had our own share of problems. And she added its just that now we think those problems were nowhere as compared with our so called adult life, we tend to ignore them.  Here belies the probable answer of the question mentioned in the article i.e. working upon child's problems by seeing it through child's psychology and not giving an adult's treatment to it. We need to  understand that children have a limited view of life though they may have good insight, intuition or in or curiosity but the ability to think rationally is less developed just because they imitate and they understand only through their immediate environment.

Here what Gerald should think that her problem is not about she being uneducated as she in her age doesn't understand the difference between an educated and uneducated person so widely as we do but she do understand that she will not be attended by her parents if she will not earn (deprived affections) or may be that her parents will resort to violence in order to make her earn. If NGO provides the same kind of affection which is so amiss and give support by offering close associations through circle of friends of same age group.... it can be the way out to lead a different way of thinking which may get ingrained in the child's mind deeply and thus saving oneself from pursuing parents!

And how I missed making documentary about my case dealing with the similar kind of problem, if  just had video depicting that....     :(
Well !! after giving so much gyan do believe that adults created an adultered society :P (culprit- rational thinking in ample !)

BTW...Barcamp Punjab - "tomorrow" ----   ----"2nd of May" !! :))
